Advertisements are everywhere; TV, magazines, radio, on the sides of buses, and on benches and billboards. Companies use advertisements to target certain age group into buying a product. They also produce different types of advertisements for the same product and place them in different magazines to ensure that the product will be exposed to different groups of consumers.
Usually, I buy a product because I like and for that reason only. The only time I buy 'name brand' is when I buy shampoo and toothpaste... and only because I love my long mermaid hair and I hate the dentist and will do whatever it takes to say out of the dentist chair lol.
I also buy things that I want with my own money, so name brands don't phase me as much as they used to.
When it comes to jingles, I usually have one or two stuck in my head throughout the day. Since I work at Red Robin I also head the infamous "YUMMMMMMM" about a million times every shift. The simple slogan is easy to remember and also sparks curiosity because Red Robin isn't as large of a chain as people think it is and are few and far between.

This ad made me laugh so hard when I first saw it. It's simple. It was made to make people laugh and view Sonic as a place where kids or teenagers would want to go. Advertisement is the most difficult business out there in my opinion and by making ads for certain age groups, narrows the direction for the ad itself. Comedy is one of the easiest ways of going about advertising. Companies deal with products that are not that great for you, and they have to draw in a crowd one way or another.

My Really Large Big Huge Footprint
So it would take about 6.8 planet Eaths to provide resources for my lifestyle if everyone lived like me. And I'm shocked to say the least.
An Ecological Footprint basically calculates areas of your lifestyle and helps break the number of Eaths into resources that you use a plethora of and also give you tips that would help fix any problems like recycling and carpooling. The Ecological Footprint helps you realize how extreme your livestyle is and stresses just how much you are hurting the Earth.
Since I drive 50 minutes back and forth to FGCU 4 times a week, I probably use more gas than most other people. I think carpooling with other students and finding a more gas effiecent car will not only help my wallet but also reduce my HUGE footprint that I have left. By using less gas as well finding alternate ways of getting to and from school, I will reduce my gas usage and also help in fixing a problem that I have caused.

This is me, Sammie D : ))
So I'm Samantha Kay Deluca, but you can call me Sam. I was born November 19th 1992 and I'm a Scorpio. I come from a LARGE and LOUD Italian family. My mom and dad met in a New York diner where my mom was a waitress. He left her a 20 dollar tip and he jokes that it was the worst 20 dollars he ever spent. I've very close with my family. I'm the middle of 5 girls. There's Linda and Michelle, then myself, Katelynn and Krisstina. You can imagine how crazy it gets, but ever though we fight, I don't know what I would do without my crazy, crazy family.
I spend most of my working at Red Robin at Gulf Coast. I'm a hostess and I love it. I basically get paid to work with my best friend and all we do is laugh and joke around with the servers that work there.
My best friend Courtney is my twin (twinning lol). I've known her since 7th grade and we laugh about everything, all of the time. She’s always been there for me.
When I'm not working, I'm usually hanging out with Courtney, going to the beach, or watching movies. I LOVE film and I plan on going to California next year to pursue film/singing.
I listen to nothing but Elvis Presley and doo wop. I'm about 54 at heart, as weird as it sounds.
I'm also addicted to Jersey Shore and Hell's Kitchen. I watch Food Network like it's my job and I love Sex and the City.
I'm short…very short and once you get to know me, I tend to talk way too much.
I’ve always wanted to travel the world…my first stop with be Graceland in Memphis, Tennessee.
I'm really excited to be attending FGCU and our class seems like it's going to be a lot of fun!!!
